This privacy notice explains the limited information practices of Northstar Connect, a static editorial website. The publication is designed to provide information without requiring accounts or purchase activity. It is not a telecom operator, eSIM provider or booking service.
Contact forms and lawful basis
Email is optional; forms do not submit.
The static contact and reading-list forms displayed on this website are nonfunctional demonstrations. They do not transmit, store or process entries. If you choose to write to [email protected] using your own email service, the content you send, your email address and any metadata handled by that email service may be processed in order to read, respond to and manage the correspondence.
Where correspondence is processed, the intended lawful basis under the GDPR is generally legitimate interests in responding to editorial enquiries, correction reports or other requested communication, and where applicable steps taken at a person’s request before entering a relationship. Do not send sensitive personal data, account credentials, SIM details, payment information or unnecessary travel documents to the publication.
Cookies, analytics and technical resources
What this build uses.
This static site does not set first-party analytics cookies through its own code. External technical resources such as the Tailwind CDN, Google Fonts and Unsplash-hosted images may process connection information such as IP address, browser characteristics and request data under their own policies in order to deliver their resources. Their use is limited to rendering the publication. Browser tools may provide their own controls for managing storage and third-party requests.
If analytics, a mailing system or a functional form is introduced in the future, this notice should be updated before those tools are used and any required consent or notice mechanisms should be provided. We do not make claims about absent infrastructure beyond the current static implementation.
Retention and rights

Correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain an editorial record, handle a correction or meet applicable legal requirements. Messages that are no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised where practical. We do not sell personal data or use correspondence to build advertising profiles.
Depending on applicable law, including the GDPR, you may have rights to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability in relation to personal data that concerns you. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority. To make a privacy-related request, write to [email protected] and provide enough information for the editorial desk to locate the relevant correspondence without sending unnecessary sensitive data.
This site may link to external websites for general information. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices.
